LVTR began as elevator_ in 2011 from a need to explore sounds and riffs that appeared usually in the late evening hours or around twilight.
The rest came as we began to play. Back then Jacek Baranski was on drums. We played, without any due dates, schedules or timelines, without forcing anything.
Mike Golabek joined the band in 2012, songs took shape and we began to play a few gigs.
In 2013 we issued an EP featuring three songs and received an unsolicited, rave review from Top Guitar magazine.
We were featured on the StreetCult song compilation in the US. We also performed our song "Gravity" on the morning show of a major national Polish TV station, TVN. Our demo material was played on national radio and several local radio stations.
In late 2014 we submitted a few songs to perform at the NAMM Show in LA, we were chosen to play 2 gigs, one on Center Stage.
At NAMM we met Corky Laing the legendary drummer and song writer of the Canadian band Mountain, who was impressed by our music and style.
Corky introduced us to Gary Lyons, the audio guru that captured and produced Queen's "A Night at the Opera" including the famed song "Bohemian Rhapsody". Gary listened to the demos and agreed to work with us. We scheduled to record our debut album in Berlin in the fall of 2015. We invited Corky to co-produce and co-author the lyrics.
Brian Tichy one of the best drummers alive today recorded the drums on the heaviest song in the entire album "Infowar".
In the spring of 2016 we flew to Nashville, where Tom Keifer of Cinderella laid down some vintage riffs and slide guitar solos at County Q Records.
We also invited a few amazing musicians from our homeland, Poland. Marek Blaszczyk (Bukartyk) added vintage Hammond organ sounds to the recordings and Daga Gregorowicz (DagaDana) recorded backing vocals.
Mirek Wdowczyk was our friend and audio engineer along the way.
The album was mixed in Poznan, Poland by Gary and Mirek and finally mastered by Robert at Defy Records in NY.
We did some extra mixing and editing in Poznan and released the album with 2 extra tracks in September 2018. It is available on most digital platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Amazon etc.).
We want to thank everyone that was involved in the process and helped us get to this point!
